Last year was definitely the best year we have ever experienced. We got married and had a beautiful baby boy. Eric and I were able to see Cheyenne on a regular basis. Life was just cruising along. It felt like one blessing after the other kept falling in our laps.
What comes up, must come down!
We had just moved into our new home and brought home a new baby boy! Days later we received a call that Cheyenne had been taken from her home due to some issues and problems that had occurred. We have (Praise the Lord) gained temporary custody of Chey and are now fighting for full custody. We have had many court dates and visitations and the road doesn't seem to be getting any shorter. We still have a lot to fight through but 2011 can be our year to have permanent custody of our Angel! We are excited to see how God works in this situation.
When life couldn't get more complicated, it DOES!
Hudson's biological Dad had fought for a paternity test and is now fighting for rights and visitation. Eric and I see ourselves having the picture perfect family and yet we have to remind ourselves at times that the reality of wishing what wasn't...is! Our court date is slowly arriving and we will continue to pray that God has his hand on the outcome!
2011 can be OUR year for both of our babies, but the "not knowing" is what's hard

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
We pray that God will continue to bless us as a family. We hold onto God and His love for strength! We know that as we continue to follow him He will continue to give us our hearts desires. We are truly blessed to have such a great support group. Our family and friends have been such a blessing to our lives and we are extremely thankful for each and every one of them!
